There I was, the last day of the last decade. I took half a day off to get a few things done.

I'm ripping through the snowy Wisconsin world to return extra overland plumbing parts to Amazon.

I manually shift my automatic down a few gears and tromp on it to get ahead of this Silverado hogging the right lane......I've been manually shifting it to try and get into 8th gear while cruising to see how you guys on the MPG thread are getting 19mpg......

I whip a shitty into the parking lot, like a BOSS

Hop out of the truck as some cute 25 year old getting into her Ford Edge turns to me and says,

"So i'm like,

I know, I know....i'm a regular Enrique Suave.....

So then she says
,

so I'm like.......

Like i'm a member of the marketing team......

Twice in 3 seconds the dumbest things come out of my mouth. But then she makes it all better.

"Oh........ i'll tell HIM that!"

In that instant it all made sense. She had no idea what she was saying, just a regurgitation of some crap that HIM had told her. A brother, a father, a boyfriend......no matter who HIM was, I know HIM..........

Either a giant douche, or a turd sandwich

Sorry, I got 21 average on my last tank and that included at least 3 remote starts before I went to doctor appointments and doing some driving through the city for shopping. And the temps here - 20s, 30s, hit the 40s once in a while.
I can't WAIT for warmer weather and a road trip at a more steady speed. YEHAW - looking for 22! LOL There, that'll fix ya.
On the other hand, a lot of the driving lately my wife has been with me - so mileage will likely drop when that changes...........
