No-Chop Inner Fenders

These would be an interesting fender to “chop”. Seems like a factory “ish” look but in metal.

Here are some pictures.

Those are quite nice. I kind of punted though. I removed the entire fender assembly to do my wiring project and reinstalled with factory liners. I was tempted to replace the liners just so I could avoid the careful inner removal project. In the end I left them attached to the flares.

Did you just remove the inner plastic liner? Or did you remove anything else from your fender or chop/trim?
Looking to add some tire clearance but would rather do it on the cheap without buying new lights.
How much more clearance do you think you gained?

I went from Willy halogen fenders to Rubicon LED fenders. The person who I got them from already had the liners separated. This made it an easier decision to change them out. Still stock other then the liners.

I have been looking at those rugged ridge inner liners also. powder coated they're only $299 for the front and $299 out of the rear that's pretty cheap already powder coated most people are wanting $350 not even powder coated and it has another 150. How is the powder coating is it like a satin black or a rough texture on those?
