I know you're out there!

I went thru a credit union. I tell them the options and color I want and they do the work minus the dealer markup.

It's scheduled to arrive in 5-10 weeks.

Any word on your order?

Here is an update....

Just got my VIN today, my order is in status D.

Currently waiting for parts are being assigned to the build to arrive. Once parts arrive, the build will be scheduled for line work.

Any news on your Rubi Glad?

Wait, what, this is a thing? Your credit union ordered the vehicle straight from Jeep, but you get it at dealer cost?

GO SHARKS!!!!

I applied for a basic car loan for starters from my credit union. Once I'm approved, they asked me what kind of car I was interested in with the options. I was then placed in contact with a company who works with other dealers to get me the best deal. The only time I set foot in the dealer was to test drive. The car is even delivered to the credit union. With the options I wanted on the Gladiator Rubicon, came out to 52k plus tax and fees. The only drawback to ordering the Gladiator thru the credit union was that I had to wait until May 1st to place the order.

Back in 1999, I wanted the 2000 Civic Si, Electron Pearl Blue....the hard to get color. The credit union called me back within 1 hour after speaking to a loan officer and said they found 1 if I wanted it. I paid 18k plus fees and not the dealer asking price of 22k at the time.

Its a sweet setup working with the credit union.

Joe Pavelski is from my hometown. Go Sharks! Lol

Ummm, that's an amazing credit union story. I need to find one locally that does this.

Glad to see that Pavelski is back on the ice, it was quite a scare to see him go down against Vegas in round 1 of the playoffs.

Thanks for the reminder on this. I think a local CU does something similar. I'll have to check when the time comes.

No kidding, never seen somebody bleed from the head just from a fall like that, and the teeth thing not long before. Dang!
