I ended up working with Rusty in Pensacola. The huge difference for me was that the prices we talked about, for both my gladiator and my trade in, weren’t just hypotheticals. Got about 8% below invoice. Got a bit less for my trade in than I’d like but still much better than the others would even sniff. Dealer fee was $300. No money down to place the order. They didn’t try to sneak anything by me at the time of purchase. Even honored my request to keep dealer decals off, no questions asked.
Don’t even waste your time with any of the Step One Auto dealers. Wouldn’t give me a set price for anything until after I put a grand down on the order, and their service departments are the worst I’ve ever dealt with.
