Back around Black Friday I ordered a JKS 3.5 inch lift for a gladiator I was factory ordering. The sale price they advertised was for the Fox shock upgrade. Fast forward to today and setting everything out to finally get the lift installed and I open the boxes. The two rear shocks are in one box, and there’s 1 front shock in the other similar sized box...weird. I open the remaining boxes and sure enough I only have 1 front shock. Call Northridge and tell them it’s been a long time but I just went to install and I’m missing a shock. She finds my order and says we only sent 1 front shock. Ok cool I’m not losing my mind. Then tells me I only got 1 front shock with the kit...huh. She says you only ordered 1 front shock. No I ordered your advertised special which included an up charge for fox performance shocks. Apparently my JT lift kit only includes 2 rear and 1 front shock if I want a 2nd front I can order it. After trying to explain I ordered a “kit” which included 4 shocks and paid an up charge for the other shocks I figured my 4 wheeled JT would have 4 shocks. She doesn’t know so she’ll have to call me back. Needless to say I haven’t heard from anybody. ‍ Anybody else have something like this happen?

That’s just silly. I just installed that same kit for a friend who ordered from them. Needless to say, it came will all 4 shocks. It’s an excellent by the way (at least it is with 4 shocks installed)...

Silly indeed. Send them your order showing what should be in the kit and demand a fourth shock. On their website they show a breakdown of parts included. Surely that company (being well known and well respected) will make it right. The photo below is directly from their site for the standard kit. The Fox Shocks kit should show the same.

Yeah on the invoice it’s broken down and shows 1 front shock but I guess I assumed that would be a set. They no longer show an option to upgrade to fox shocks but I ordered the JKS jrated 3-3.5 in system and chose fox instead of the JKS shocks so that’s gotta include 4. Just disappointed that she called back and doesn’t have an answer so she’ll let me know what the internet team says. My selection was taking price point into effect so if I have to buy another shock that may have changed my decision. Just disappointing because I’ve gotten fox steering stabilizer, and yeti track bar for my JL. And venomrex wheels, the lift kit, tazer, etc for the JTR all from Northridge and they’ve always been my first look for stuff with good pricing and fast free shipping. This is something that sours my idea of giving them my business that they even think that only 1 coming in a kit is an acceptable response.

It’s strange that Northridge now shows the kit with Fox Shocks to be discontinued. JKS still shows the shocks as optional and a few other suppliers still show it available. The rear shocks have their own JKS specific part number (I’m actually waiting on a set of these to arrive for my rear), and the front shocks are standard 2-3” lift Fox Shocks. Curious...

Northridge took care of it. Error with the website and honestly I should’ve paid more attention. Owner cleared things up and went above and beyond once we got it figured out.
