There’s one on Facebook Mktpl that’s listed for under $10k. I know they’re rwd with the engine right over the drive wheels. But not too sure about suspension travel and articulation.

When your axles are like a foot and a half away from each other is it even really a concern? By the time the front axle is getting halfway into its articulation the rear is already going into the same process. A lot less flex is needed in that circumstance.

The downside on a wheelbase that short is inclines and declines. Way easier to go arse over teakettle at extreme angles.

Saw this on the way back to Big Lake. I didn't know Smart car off roading was a thing. Being an EV I'm wondering what's in the red cans (battery fluid?).

I've seen online where people have put these on side by side chassis.
That looks crazy fun, for a little while anyways.

Funny thing is I saw my first lifted Smart car last weekend. Got past me before I could take a pic, but it looked just like that one. A very cool idea indeed. But I have to admit every time I see one or a Scion IQ I just stop and.......
