Similar. He crashes various other department retirement and service anniversary catered parties uninvited and tries to walk off with full sandwich trays and whole pizzas in the box.

Sounds like a guy I worked with. He used to walk around the building checking the conference rooms for leftover food that wasn’t eaten by the previous users. He’d make off with whatever he could carry. Well HR had a talk with him and told him this was considered stealing since the conf. Room user was billed for whatever was eaten. The cafeteria folk inventoried what they brought and what was left and billed apppropritely.
He nearly lost his job for pilfering Leftovers. What a maroon.
