I had posted a mild political meme and got a warning. Then I posted a "Let's go B" meme which was just letters. (L.G.B.F.J....) Got 2 weeks for it. That's been over a year now. Still have 2 strikes against me. Which I think the strikes will never go away.

The one guy, Ace, had posted some really funny political memes. They hammered him hard. Never to be heard from again.

I'm with you Rusty, in the 2 strikes category. Rediculous how the mods work here with the hammer.

I couldn't give a fuck about politics! My politics? I'm dying of an incurable disease and every day of my life is exhausting so I smoke marijuana to alleviate some of the symptoms but at almost 60 I'm hiding in my garage like a criminal trying to make the pain go away. This is the result of politics and I cannot afford to make a large cash donation to buy one of my own.

Having served in the military and as an LEO I have an immense dislike for snitches. I only question the banning process. Much like politics and religion, "it is in the eye of the believer".

Most well run forums are benevolent dictatorships. Really comes down to the owner/admin viewpoint on things in life to include politics and how someone being banned will fare.

If I was to speculate from personal observation over the years of who got banned and for what, right of center views are given less tolerance.

I belong to a "truckers" forum.....where there is a "politics" section......to enter the section you need a separate password....."thickskin".......the irony being is you can say ANYTHING as respects politics, but can't use Carlin's 7 words

The one forum I'm on. Tried the political section. That last less than 2 weeks. Guys were calling each other out and threatening violence. It got ugly fast. There is still a lot of sore skin even after about 5 years later.
