Big tech companies are laying off people who have worked on developing AI. They're getting replaced by the very system that they developed.

So my oldest works for a pretty large AI company, asked about this very thing. Response was that's why I'm in the on-boarding department. Oddly enough the buyers still want a real person not an AI agent. Still a lot of potential volatility, was happy when she told me they have saved enough to live for a year if she lost her job, reality is she gets offers often to leave so she's not worried.
