Except the ones with a Slant Six that ate solid state ignition modules like candy. Just about every one I knew back then to include me carried a spare ignition module as you never knew when one would give up the ghost on you.

Our family had a ton of Doge trucks and Plymouth Valiants that got passed down to us kids and just remember times coming out of wherever shopping or what not and the vehicle would not start. Our family was Mopar. Dad's favorite was his '64 Plymouth Belvedere with the 413 cross ram with 2 4bbls. Mom had a '67 Plymouth Sport Fury III with a 440 4 bbl.
Brother had a '66 Cuda with a 273 HiPo and a 4 speed. Then a '68 Hemi Roadrunner with a 4 speed. Then a '70 Superbee with a 440 six pack auto. I took my driving test in that car. i had a '70 340 Duster, and a '73 Dart Sport 340. Which ended up with a bored and stroked 440 = 572 cubic inch monster. Dad had 3 dodge trucks. Brother had 4 Dodge trucks. I had 3 Dodge trucks, and have Jeeps #6, and #7 now. This isn't counting the mini vans, and other Mopars in the family.
Ours was also, but only because we were cheap and Chrysler most times back then was playing third fiddle when it came to pricing of a new vehicle.
My one uncle and 2 aunts lived in Michigan. They all worked for GM and drove GM's. One uncle was an engineer for Ford in Cleveland Ohio. He worked on engine development. He drove a Dodge. LOL We could have gotten special pricing through them for being family. None of us never did take them up on it.
