All of my lawn mowing money used to be spent at TG&Y. Bought a little Briggs and Stratton powered mini bike one summer after saving up all of my paper route and mowing funds.
My stepdad called the place Tear Grab and Yank, or Toys Guns and Yo-yos depending on his mood.
Miss stores like that. Especially Western Auto. I mean where else could a 12 year old save up and go buy a .22 rifle and a box of rounds to go help a neighbor eradicate his pond of turtles so that his stocked fish could thrive???
And look at the cushy suspension on that bad boy!

We had one similar in red, then upgraded to the Heald Super Bronc kit in 8HP IIRC. I had fun putting it together and man was it fun to ride.
