Steve,I survived - Cua Viet and Cam Ranh Bay 1969-70, and I left my bad ass there.
I work with the VA now with children who have lost parents in the last wars. Sometimes it's tough. I was very lucky personally. Used the GI Bill, got a PhD, taught geoarchaeology for 23 years, have a great family and fantastic wife with three successful grandchildren, all by a guy who grew up in a trailer park in the country with no food on the table sometimes. I've lived the American Dream, and try and help others struggling through it. My dad was a Marine in the Pacific in WWII. I learned how to live from him. I miss him terribly. Sorry to go on, but I got my window sticker today!Steve,
