Looking for a inexpensive reliable adapter to use with jscan and was wondering if any of you guys have a favorite? The obdlink mx+ is the one suggested on their site but they show several others as well. Don't wanna blow money on something unnecessary when a cheaper one will work just as well. For a gladiator Mojave if it makes a difference. Never used the app before so it's completely new to me.

I have had the OBDLink MX+ for a few years now and use it on various vehicles. The only advantage that I have heard of for this one vs. some of the other less expensive ones is that the bluetooth connection in the OBDLink MX+ is a bit faster No way to prove or deny. Just make sure whichever one you get is the + version, which means it will work with apple and android.

The speed appears to matter for a few things most won't likely run into.
I have that adapter as well because I'm more snoopy and tend to dig into things and explore more and ran into a case where JSCAN said it couldn't access with the other adapter I had. Otherwise, the cheaper one worked just fine.

I was actually looking at that very one on Amazon earlier(vlinker). Isn't the red cable you have pictured the security bypass cable?

VGATE is the brand of first one I bought - and still have. It would be fine for most folks.
This is the one I got -

I use a Veepeak and works good. Has 15% of right now on Amazon. I had to search my Amazon purchase history to find it.
