Odd mileage on a new Gladiator on a dealer lot.

That window sticker says that it was built on May 17. That mileage would be pretty hard to accomplish on 3 months.

So here is where it gets fucked up. I once inquired about a power wagon at my local dealer. The salesman told me that the owner was using it as a personal vehicle and it has 50k On it. I was like ok cool so were selling it at a discount used?

"No this will be sold at full price because it is a new vehicle"


I'm not sure if it works this way in most states but if a vehicle is used as a loner, or the manger is just strutting around with it. Until that vehicle is sold and titled it is considered a "NEW" vehicle. That is not a new vehicle to me but its a shitty way dealers work the system. At the price they want for that stay far a way. No warranties on a financed car? Nah.

Some states like Hawaii once a new vehicle hits a certain mileage threshold it by law has to sold as used, whether it has been registered or not. But that was 20 years ago

Yeah, something is fucky going on with the pics. Shows used aftermarket floor mats with a service tag laying on the floor in a couple of pictures.

I think someone has gotten some other used truck pics from another truck mixed up with this listing.

The Carfax shows zero owners and 212 miles 6/21/2022, so my guess is they uploaded the picture of the wrong vehicle's gauges.

if that was made may 17 lets say it was delivered june 1 thats about right. in that time it has gotten 172k miles. if ran 24hrs a day for 70 days it has averaged 102mph not subtracting time for service. ricky bobby must be the manager behind the wheel! its the only reasonable explanation

I have emailed the dealer a few times trying to figure out what is up with this Jeep, but keep getting the run around. Any idea why this 2022 has 172k on it? I have a feeling they may have gotten the photos mixed up, but something doesn't seem right.

DANG! I was all impressed that I hit 10k... Definitely something wrong here. That truck is too clean for that mileage. Most certainly an error on that pic.

That Gladiator is a sport model and sells new around that price. That's not a good deal no matter which way you look at it. You would think they would have cleaned the interior up a bit. The driver side door, door sills, and floor mat are so dirty. When a dealer doesn't take the initiative to clean up a car to make it presentable, to me that's a red flag. What else are they skipping on?
