As the lucky owner of a 2021, TPMS sensors are really fun. Even more fun is that it is a June 2021 during the switch. Even even more fun is the build date. On the door jam it shows as 0607 and on the window sticker as 0610. (I've heard the sticker date is the final quality control check though so let the confusion compound.) June 7th was the middle of the switch as seen is this bulletin:

https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/attachments/sb-22-003-21-tpm-mid-year-change-pdf.198710/

Of course they leave open to interpretation what was going on on the 7th. When I got a new set of TPMS sensors back in June my understanding was that it had the newer sensors and I told them as such since it was a June 21 build. Sensors get put on and it picks up in short order so haven't really worried about it since. Flash forward to today and I come back to thinking about it again and now it bothers me a bit though it still really doesn't matter. So anyone have a good idea so I can put this to bed once and for all? I suppose I could go to Discount and they could take a tire off but that's too much time and effort for a trivial matter. Window sticker below for those interested.

Build date on the door jamb sticker is the date to go by. The window sticker or build sheet often isn't available as fast as the Jeep is put together on the line.
You'll see the year and month as well as the month, day of month and hour of the build (As MDH) on the door sticker.
That's your build date.
It will reflect the date and hour of final assembly.

I think you have the old system. Like @ShadowsPapa mentioned, check the MDH on the door label and that will give the exact day of the month and hour built.

Generally around that time frame when they made the switch, they put "Continental Tire Pressure Monitor Sensor" on the window sticker for few months to denote the change,

Also the build sheet should have "CONTINENTAL TPM SENSOR" listed on your build sheet and I do not see that either.

Below are pictures from the Window Sticker and Build Sheet from my 2021 Willys Gladiator that was a August 2021 build that had the new sensors. By 2022 model year, they would drop both of these indications off the window sticker and build sheets.

Yep, I figured out the date and time real quick just wanted to make sure the door is the one to go by. The bigger question was if June 7th builds were old or newer but based on your sticker info does seem to have the older system. Discount must of made a "mistake" and just happened to grab the older sensors or there is some witchcraft going on. :surprised:

Parts cut-ins are not always clean and sometimes there can be cases on either side of what service data says. Regardless, your build sheet should be gospel to exactly what you have.

MDH is when the build was started. Since yours was started on the listed changeover date, I would expect it to have the new version sensors. Discount Tire said that's what they put in, and they are working, so what is the issue? The sensors will outlast the tires. You can verify which version they are the next time the tires are replaced.

At the end of G, your vehicle is built -

My MDH is 6/24 9 am -

Mine went into G at 9 am on 06/24 - it came out of G at 2:17pm so took about 5 hours.
The below is the build sequence on my own 2022, so I know exactly when it went into each phase, and when it left each phase. Check the times listed below with the MDH on my door sticker above.

G is five stages, it went in at 9am and came out of G to I (built) at 7:25pm.

I don't have that list, since I didn't order it, but I do have the door sticker. It shows the build starting at 6pm on 28 March 2019, and a manufacture date of April 2019.

Yeah, missed the G2, G3, etc. that's the stages of drivetrain and other components mated to the frame. So it was a good part of a day. (9a-7p)
The parallel stages are interesting - body at the same time as G stages, then the body comes over to the frame area from the body shop.

It's really tough when they talk of things being before or after a certain date. If your vehicle is built on a date mentioned - there's a whole 24 hour period in there.
Once the modules are in place in the vehicle and the wiring installed, the TPMS sensors in the wheels must match what that body got for RF hub or TPM module.
In this case it says "if it was built BEFORE it got A and if it was built AFTER it got B - if it was built ON, you have to go by the build sheet, one could be early morning finish (say 7am) or 11pm finish time.
During that day it's bound to be a mix.
Good catch, I was missing the detail and looking only at the course times.

So glad I bought & drove it off the lot in April '21. Don't have to think about it.
