I am doing as much research as possible and was hoping someone could validate my thinking. I am hoping to run 315/70/17 on my Willys without a lift. I may run spacers. But since the OEM wheel is +44MM offset 7.5 inch rim, will running a 0 or +12mm offset 8 inch wide wheel with the 315's help ensure I am good to go without rubbing, or does that change (bringing the wheel out further from the body) bring other issues that I simply have not accounted for? Any help would be appreciated.

Also, assuming I would have to order and put the wheels on as I am guessing most brick and mortar tire stores would tell me this combo wouldn't fit?

Thanks in advance!

You should be fine with 315s on +12, 0, or spacers. Most tire stores will also install that tire on stock wheels.
Thank you!
