Has anyone found an Oil Catch Can kit for the JTD? Or modified one made for the 3.6L Penta?

To my knowledge through a variety of threads, all attempts have been met with a MIL.. I haven’t found anyone who has installed on successfully without it.

I’ve just email EOC to see if they have any knowledge of a suitable solution.

Yep I think sensors are really picky with the PCV hose, any variance in pressure it throws a code.. we have to make sure to keep dirty diesel emissions out of the atmosphere unless your dpf is full.. in that case you just end up dumping unburned fuel directly onto the dpf undoing any good you would’ve done with a dpf to begin with.

I can understand the desire for a catch can, however, there are plenty of stock EcoDiesels with over 300,000 miles with no catch can. I personally don't have one, but again, I can see why an owner/operator would want to keep the intake as clean as possible.

I heard back immediately from T&S and they say the parts are two to three weeks out at this time. I’m going to go with them as they seem to be the only one that’s solved the sensor error code issue in all the research I’ve done. Each to their own too, whether you want this mode or not. Burning oil in your fuel is not my idea of good engine design and if it’s not in the emissions, it’s cleaner burning! 🔥
