I may never submerge my Jeep Alpine blue tooth speaker in 3 feet of water for 30 minutes as it claims I can; however, do the other speakers have the same claim? If so I guess I overpaid for this blue tooth speaker that ever other blue tooth speaker can do. huh. I think it may get dusty too and still work. Good assurance that wherever I go, or if some water may come into contact with my speaker or if it is dusty my speaker will work. I have attended many Jeep Jamborees and have gone where few other Jeeps have gone, so that is why I purchased the most capable speaker, just like the Jeeps I own. Thank you for showing me the value of my purchase. Please check your specifications on your blue tooth speakers and let me know what you find.

There is no less then a dozen or so different bluetooth speakers running around my house ranging from 20 dollar Amazon Specials to 2 UE Megabooms (they link together for stero sound) and honestly I never use any of them. My daughter uses them often, but I keep winning them at work so we keep adding to the collection.

No certainly not worth that cost. If you wanted one that would serve the same purpose you could add a USB charge port there & then any number of Bluetooth speakers that could just be parked in that spot till you needed it. Probably less than 100 bucks total & give as good of audio.
Hi there!

Does anyone install the Genuine Jeep Bluetooth Wireless speaker with the Charging Port successfully on the Gladiator?

Does more wiring is needed after:

Parts 6ND30TX7AC & 6LQ27TX7AD

If so, can anyone share the wires parts# and maybe some guidelines?

NOTE:

I get that we can get a much better "Bluetooth Wireless Speaker" with less money.

But, it is a Jeep thing.

I'll look forward to anyone's bits of help!

If anybody wants a pretty good deal on a non-jeep, waterproof, BT speaker, check your Walmart clearance aisle. I just grabbed a JBL Flip Essential for $35. It sounded so good that I went back and got two more for family members.
