On/off switch for winch controller

Great idea! I just might try that. I'm connecting the #3 aux switch to the warn power interrupt. Just waiting for the paint to dry on my makeshift mounting plate. I see that this post is old. Did you ever end up doing it?

That's how my warn is wired. The big warn power interrupt relay, and its just wired to the jeeps built in AUX buttons. the wires are already there by the battery, nothing to run into the cab or anything.

The jeep aux switch is just switching 12v to trigger the relay. its not carrying winch amps.
