Onboard battery maintainer.

Has anyone installed a onboard battery maintainer on a diesel? If so where did you mount it? I know there very limited space under the hood. I have been using a maintainer but would like to mount one permanently now. Thanks

Yep. Five minute job. Bought the Naco 2 and used heavy duty Velcro to the top of the fuse box. The short cord reaches just below passenger side front fender liner. I have one zip tip at the bottom so it doesn’t move. When I park, I just grab the extension cord and plug it in. Plus people see my Jeep is plugged in and won’t steel it thinking it is a hybrid. :{)

On a serious note, my ESS works flawlessly since I installed it. My Tazer keeps it off but it is a good indicator of battery health since I only drive it 2-3 days a week.

I keep the battery maintainer part on the wall, and just run the little wire out
