And if you visit the other Jeeps sites (as well as Tacoma sites) I have, you see that - well, never mind.
I just felt good about my thoughts the more sites I dug into, including non-Jeep sites. (and talking to a major area tire dealer that sells all of these tires, especially Falken, etc. They have a 5 of 5 rating online.)

I'm staying out of it in public.

Actually I meant that I did some digging and looking to see where I stood in my thinking - I do that, to ensure I'm not crazy.
I pretty much confirmed my thoughts. (basically got a "I am not alone" feeling)

I have a very interesting PDF file that talks tons about load, pressures and more as well. They give specific examples. From an association of tire manufacturers.

So is the 37psi accurate for the OEM tires on my Glad_Rubi with OEM 33's?
I just did a chalk test on my JTR OEM MTs, everything else is stock, no winch or anything like that. Door says 37psi, I found 34 all the way around to be good. Maybe even 33 since there was still a bit more chalk on the inner edge, but the rest was evenly worn.

At 37psi, there was still a lot of chalk at both edges.

And that is cold. Imagine what happens when they heat up!

Back in the day, the OEM number was a starting point. The owners manual then had you check the tires as part of routine maintenance, looking for indicators like wear patterns, cupping, etc. Those indicators would tell you things like poor tire balance, misalignment, tire pressure, etc., but at that point your tires were damaged. The chalk test and toe in measurement is so much more civilized. Now pass me the Grey Poupon.

I just set all my Kumho RV M/T KL71 37x13.50r20's at 45 lbs per the TPMS sensor readings on the EVIC. Fuel mileage today went from 12.5 average to 13.0 and rising. So, after resetting ECM for the 37's with the Tazer, and with the iDrive unit now functioning properly and smoothly with the throttle and shifting settings, MPG's are going up. Hopefully they'll go up to around the 15 MPG range, which I would be VERY happy with at that for an average of around town, and highway, since I don't run the highways very often.

Today I learned that 22psi on Falken M/Ts in 255/75/17 is not too low for trails or pavement. Meant to have it a 25-27 but creeks were colder than expected. Got back up to 25 once highway speeds were reached. Felt no ride difference on pavement between 25 and the usual 35
