Are these worth the money? Found a lot of negative reviews about them.

The original batches had issues. I got mine replaced and have had no issues since, very happy with them. Oracle has been great with their customer support. I have yet to see Oracle not step up and make a problem right.

One big issue I've seen is that people pile on to a singular problem someone might be having, despite them having never bought anything from or never had any interaction with a company. This makes things look worse than it is and is counterproductive, especially when that original problem gets sorted out and the actual buyer is happy. In reality, most the people doing the shit talking on those threads have had zero skin in the game.

They turn into what I call "synthetic reviews", or reviews based only on what someone's perceived from others rather than from an actual buyer.

I have had the oracle tail lights on my list for over a year. Every time I get to a point where I am ready to buy, new posts about failures always seem to show up on this forum or the JL forum. I get that Oracle customer service is great and they back up their products, but who wants to keep sending bad ones back and re-installing new ones? It seems to me there is a QC issue with a supplier. I continue to wait. I'm also interested in their backup light offering. I keep watching reviews on those. Hope Oracle can get the QC issues resolved because I really like their tail light style.

I think you're seeing new posts because people are encouraged to get visibility to the problem, and they didn't realize all it takes is reaching out to Oracle. Those posts typically go from angry to satisfied in a short period of time as a result. You just need to strip out the "synthetic reviews" that pile into those threads to see it. It also pays to remember that there's still a bunch of the original batch out there that haven't been addressed yet, and some of those will invariably still pop up.

Also, I have seen zero issues with the backup lights, so you may want to check into that again before throwing the baby out with the bathwater and claiming they're questionable. Might be a simple case here where perception is not reality.

FWIW, I have yet to see someone get a replacement tail light that then needed the replacement to be replaced; it's always been a one-and-done thing. So I wouldn't say they are "constantly" sending them back, they're just working through those with the issues over time, and the new ones appear to be solving the problem.

Thank you for this great question. We did have an initial batch that had some problems. We do value our customers and their opinions. I love my flush mount tail lights and I know more than once having a flush mount light kept the vehicle from rear body damage or having a light ripped off.

Please see our response about the initial release of the lights. https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/...ighting-flush-tail-light-tech-bulletin.69691/

Of course, you can always ask questions here or DM me directly and I can help, too.

they are absolute garbage and oracle should be ashamed they sell them.

the tabs will break and oracle will say "that was your fault you over tightened them" even when they're just over finger tight, Ive had acquaintances have them crap out in less than two years.
there are A LOT of threads with failures here.

When did you buy them? I know you've had an apparent axe to grind for years with Oracle for some reason, and always go out of your way to attack them, but never could figure out why.

Terry, Would ordering direct from Oracle ensure I would get a set of the newer batches? Thanks.

I have the tail lights and back up lights. I love both and would purchase again. I had a small issue with the passenger taillight and Oracle customer service was great. They stand by their products. I would not hesitate to order from them.

I've had my set of flush mounts for almost 2 years now and have had no issues. I did put rubber U channel around them to fill the gap between the light housing and body of the bed.

I have the Oracle head, fog, and backup lights. Had a small problem with the backup lights ( ordered before avabible) and customer service solved my issue with one call. I am a happy customer.
