The thing that sucks is that some of these orders are still sitting in the shipping lot while others built after are being shipped before and all going to the same dealers. No rhyme or reason as to why and no one can get any info on them either. There is a major break down on communication with Stellantis. Can't even get the rep for them to talk to the dealer on these issues. No one wants to do any actual work anymore. Can you tell that I am a little sour? :(:swear:
Yep. My finished building on 4/4, and still sitting waiting to ship.

I'm almost to that point too. If I weren't $1k deposit and much more on parts/accessories invested already, I would. Mine was built on 1/27 so I can't understand what could be holding it up for so long other than maybe some damage incurred in the loading/mixing lot or some other odd instance.
But in that period of time, they could just build a new truck - twice.

That's one of the reasons I'm getting more leery of trading now.......... would be without a truck for months. Dealers don't want to quote you a trade-in value on yours and then have to wait 3 months to get it when there's more age and miles and the market on used could fall - and I can't really blame them.

Just got another email from local dealer. I asked what their anticipated wait times were for new Jeeps ordered this month.
The response -
we are estimating a 3 to 4 month wait.
But what made me think this isn't right was the other comment - the more options you order the longer it takes to build it
Well, not totally true. Yes, if you order accessories like tonneau cover, bed liner, that sort of thing, perhaps, especially since the spray-in bed liner isn't part of "Jeep proper" as far as the production line, but still............. most options are electronic in nature - subject to "chips" and so on, it's not like it takes them longer to install a set of tail lights that are LED vs other, or that it takes longer to install the tow package as that's just different parts, not more parts (save for the receiver of course)
Passive/proximity entry is different door handles, not more door handles, leather seats is simply other seats, not more seats. So it made no sense in a way.

But still, they are saying 3 to 4 months? Seriously??

I was told 8-12 weeks. It isn't the build that's taking time.. at least it wasn't.. Could be now I suppose. I was amazed how quickly mine was built.

I'm suspecting the 3 to 4 months was mentioned to get me to hurry up and order...... but then if they don't sell that many, maybe it does take them that long to get them!

I ordered the first week of March with Gupton. Was told 8 to 12 weeks but he said right now (that was first week of March) it is closer to 8 weeks. I am just about to the 8 week mark from placing my order and Jeep Chat says it is not in production and I should check back in another 3 weeks. So there is no way I am getting in 3 months. Right now I I am hoping for the 4 month mark.

When I ordered mine (March 26) the salesman said it will probably be 3-4 months, but when I talked to the sales manager he said that it would be much closer to a 6-8 week timeframe. I was notified today that my jeep passed inspection and is entering the shipping phase (got to look over the window sticker finally as well!). So my build took about 5 weeks from order, but doesn't include the waiting game that is delivery....

When I ordered I was told it was a 3-4 month wait. I ordered Jan 24th and picked it up exactly 2 months later.

I am now in JB status. Shipped to body vendor. I don’t quite know if I should be excited about this or not. Oh well. At least it’s moving.

I'd be excited about any movement. Body vender is aux switches, tonneau cover, bed liner, etc. From my understanding.

Hopefully it’s not stuck in JB status for a month. Fingers crossed ??
