Recently acquired a take-off Overland bumper from a fellow forum member which I plan to install on my base Sport. The Overland bumper did not come w/ fog lights, and at first I thought I could just re-use the fog lights from my Sport bumper, but it seems, after some research, these will not work. These seem to be my options.

1. Pickup a set of Overland fog lights, here are the part numbers I found (are these right?)
68081399AB Jeep Fog Lamp Assembly, RIGHT - PLASTIC BUMPER, W/ O LED LIGHT PKG
68081399AB Jeep Fog Lamp Assembly, LEFT - PLASTIC BUMPER, W/ O LED LIGHT PKG
These are around $40 each.

2. Upgrade to a set of Oracle fog lights. These are advertised as "won't fit sport" but because I have an Overland bumper I think they will work?
High Performance 20W LED Fog Lights - Quadratec 97009.9017 - Oracle 5846-504
These are around $60 each.

Can somebody also confirm that a Torx bit (T-30?) is required to remove/install the fog lights.

Thanks.

Sorry, I don't know about the torx bit requirement. I'm trying to do the same upgrade. I got the overland bumper installed on my sport. But, the bumper didn't have the brackets for the fog lights and my old fog lights (from the sport) do not fit. Now I have to get brackets and fog lights.

Do you know if the fog light assemblies you mentioned above come with brackets? Thanks

I used these fogs from amazon. They worked out great and are LED, definitely recommended and go used to save some cash. No reprogramming needed.

However, I later came to find out you can just buy the brackets to adapt the sport fogs. This is the cheapest option and keeps them halogen. The part number is 68298651AA at $7ea and you would need 2 of them (plus shipping).

Finally, the OEM halogen fog light assemblies I had identified in my original post have integrated brackets, no additional parts are needed. You could use the LED version instead but then you need to mess with programming.
