Same issue for me. Little bubbles all over the truck. Still under 5 year window so will be heading to dealer at end of Febafter a couple of planned trips. Can’t risk losing truck this month if dealer is going to repair things

Did you get your truck looked at? I just noticed I have them in a lot more spots now

I have these appearing all over my vehicle. Your photo is the only one I have ever found that looks exactly like what I have. Would you let me know if you have found a solution or if this is covered under warranty?

Did you get your truck looked at? I just noticed I have a lot of sports popping up now. It’s a shame as I wash and wax my truck a lot. I haven’t made an appointment yet. I’m afraid I have to many miles on my truck and they will give me the run around and not want to cover. It looks like it’s supposed to be covered up to 5 years and unlimited mileage

Rust is a type of corrosion that occurs on metal surfaces when it reacts with oxygen and water. The chemical reaction that causes rust is called oxidation. The oxidation process eats away at the metal and creates visible rust on the metal's surface.

Aluminum oxidation or aluminum rust...take your pick.

Hopefully the dealership was able to help. Reviving a dead thread since I have two nice smooth paint bubbles on the tailgate and on my hood. Both of which have no scratching anywhere near them. Going into the dealer next Tuesday hopefully they don't give me the runaround.

At least here in Brevard county FL, good luck getting it fixed. One dealer here on the space coast that actually has a body shop and I've been on their "wait list" now for close to 1 year. Really is terrible that the dealers do NOTHING. They literally told me today "try another dealer and maybe they can farm the work out" Really? I'm suppose to find ANOTHER Jeep dealer and see if they can farm out the warranty work?? I'd love to hear from someone at JEEP on how do I get my Warranty paint done before my vehicle is out of warranty!

My JT has this also almost everywhere. It’s at the dealer waiting for Jeep to approve or deny the claim.

Brand new to the Forum here, and hello! I just picked up a nice 2023 Gladiator at the dealership (still under warranty, only 7k miles) and drove it home and washed it... upon drying it noticed this paint flaking away below the driver's side door at the weld. I'm hoping things aren't as bad as I've heard on getting this taken care of... Especially since I drove the Jeep from AZ to WA and the original dealership is far, far away!

I had my hood edge bubble. Not corrosion but some kind of painting process problem. Warranty covered it.

My truck is at Hollywood Jeep Chrysler in Florida, it has been there for more than a month but allegedly Jeep is goin to fix everything it is supposed to be ready in two weeks. I will report back results.
