For what it’s worth I’ll always pay $180 more to support something made in the USA vs overseas.
Man... Talk about pulling on the patriotic heart strings. I agree with your comment, I would much prefer to buy American. With the get the fifth tire free right now on the pats at Northridge, it puts the difference at closser to $900 difference between the two sets. Decisions, decisions

I have tried just about every tire over the past two and a half decades, and the Cooper STTs are the best for me for almost everything. Bombproof. Last for over 70K miles. 3-ply sidewall that almost can't be punctured. Grip. Etc. …

My 17x35s have 21/32" tread depth. Same size BFGs have 15/32" tread depth. That's 40% more tread to start with.
What size tires on the Rubicon? Is it the 315/70/17? Didn't know if that's what you referring to when you mentioned "my 17x35s have 21/32.."

I have a set 37" MT02 now on my JT i really like them but i have run stt pros on everything ive own for the 10plus years and they are a great tire For 180 STT IMO
