Phone Delay with Apple Car Play

Anybody had any issues with answering the phone while connected in Apple Car Play? I've been told when I answer the phone, they can't hear me on the other end for about 5 seconds. I am using the Apple cord (not a cheap one) and updated software.

The could be a carrier problem. Have you confirmed it is carplay? e.g. have a friend or relative call and confirm the delay. then disconnect from carplay and have them call again to verify the delay is gone.

Yeah, its something with the Jeep. Doesn’t do it in my wife’s VW or in my boss’s 392 I drive occasionally.
