Is it standard practice now to generate the most horrendous looking AI generated thumbnail for literally every youtube video?
Yes. You're lucky if the whole thing isn't AI generated.

I don't hate on Toyota, but do poke fun at the Toyota Guys who think the company descended from heaven on a winged unicorn that shoots rainbows out its ass (especially the Tacoma guys for some reason).
Don't say that too loudly. It'll hurt their feelings and they won't be able to afford the therapy they'll need with all the Prinsu and CBI gear they just bought.

We have two Jeeps, but my favorite vehicle of all time is the FJ80 series Land Cruiser. I don't hate on Toyota, but do poke fun at the Toyota Guys who think the company descended from heaven on a winged unicorn that shoots rainbows out its ass (especially the Tacoma guys for some reason).
WHOA. I have both a Gladiator and a Tacoma. Lol. I will say, that when my Gladiator decided it electronically did not want to shift the other week, I jumped in my Tacoma that I hadnt driven in like 6 weeks and it fired right up like I had driven it the day before. There is something to be said about reliability.

Now, my Taco wont go NEAR as many places as my Jeep but if its anything its reliable.

Heck, any of my vehicles will do that save for the javelin with no choke and dual quads and mechanical fuel pump. Prime it and it goes, however. Even my John Deere will do that after two months.

The point was my Jeep wouldn't drive less than 12 hours after I'd driven it...

So your one Jeep has an unusual problem. Mine will sit for a week or more, fire right up and drive find.
Why not fix it? When I had my surgery last fall, mine sat for over 2 weeks - never an issue.

So my point is - your specific Jeep has a problem that isn't indicative of a widespread Jeep issue. It's a one-off.

Hey, I got T-Boned by a Chevy Kingswood wagon in my '70 Javelin. Watched the big blue bow tie coming in the passenger window, the driveshaft coming up through the tunnel and exiting through the roof, and my box of 8-tracks in the passenger side back seat get crushed. Slid 217 feet sideways and shut the engine (still running) off after coming to a stop. Lost my eyeglasses but no injuries in either car. Real world crash test.

I won’t forget my 71’ Bronco’s manual steering and drum brakes along with lap seat belts. A truly live free or die experience. Loved it though!
Pfft hardly most sane people will get out of the way of a 70's Bronco rattling down the road, those guys are crazy ;)

Okay, gotta ask....why is there the constant comparison of Jeep against Toyota ?
Jeep versus Toyota has been going around for years and years - especially in the offroad era of years past. I started off-roading in 1999 with a 96' Tacoma. TTORA (Tacoma Territory Offroaders Association) was HUGE back then. They had State Chapters and a National event in Moab.

Wranglers & XJ's were always king offroaders back then.......but the Toyota guys were always at their heels. You take an 85 Toyota truck (cheap) with that solid front axle - they were pretty hard to beat. The number of guys doing Solid Axle Swaps on the Tacoma's was awesome to see.

So yea... that rivalry has been around for a very very long time. My husband and I bought a 92 YJ and built that up for the trails - you can't beat a solid front axle!

In this day-n-age.... I wouldn't be surprised the 'new' rivalry is between the Bronco & Jeep.

I remember wheeling my Xterra for nearly 15 years with Jeep and Toyota guys (and trying to find decent aftermarket support)

A group of us started an offroad club called "Keystone Krawlers' in our area (south central PA area). We started it for the sole purpose of getting everyone (all makes & models) together. At that time, there wasn't many offroad clubs that weren't Jeep related ( BMJA, PA JEEPS, and Jeeps R Us -we belonged to JRU).

It was pretty cool to see all sorts of different rigs together!
