Whelp, here she is as she sits: JKS 3” jspec, Fox IPFs, BDS rear heavy spring, and my VKS sliders ?

All I have in back is empty Decked drawers, fridge/cage, rack, and tent. Picture is in as level ground as I could find. I’m taking recommendations for rear spacers now and a tad unhappy it’s sitting as such, but it is what it is. I thought the front will settle some, especially with bumper/winch once added, but the entire bed, etc is empty and I’m starting off at -1 ride. 1-2” spacers, thoughts?

Ever consider air bags? That way, you could regulate rake with air pressure, depending on much much weight you have in/on the bed. I have a set from Timber Grove, and they are awesome.

Air bags are a possibility. Not interested in Clayton and playing that chasing game all over again. I want to go at it one more time and be done with it. I know it’s trial and error to a degree, and swapping and such is inevitable and all part of it, but I want to get it right and move on. I’ll check some spring charts.

Maybe a steel bumper and a winch on the front would help? :)

Most def! On the list trust me, still won’t correct the sag though. With air bags, is it all a manual process, just air them up to desired rate/ride and then air down a bit off road, soften the ride, then back up before highway time?

That’s super weird. Mine with the same setup, minus the shocks (mine are simple fox 2.0) was super high in the rear. And it’s never been less than level with a big load. Something is off.

Edit: this is mine with the loaded trailer hooked up with approximately 300lbs of tongue weight, and a fully packed bed (I guess 500-600lbs). The rear springs are the same. Can you send pictures of your rear springs? I’ll get some close ups of mine tomorrow to compare. This is super weird.

Flat ground measured: 27.5 in front/26.5 in back - even side to side. BDS/JKS requested info and I sent them specs and pictures etc. They're being very helpful finding a solution so let's see how it goes. I wonder if I got a bum rear set or something? Each set of springs is supposed to have a number; my fronts are #332, but the rears have nothing on them.

air bags could help and even spacers but you should consider getting a hold of Clayton for their recommendation on a set of proper springs to carry the weight you have.
Second Clayton, talk with them they will get you sorted.

I disagree. Every clayton lift I’ve seen on a gladiator with weight in the bed sags. This has a solution I promise. I say that as someone with the same components, and I maintain a very healthy rake. It levels out a bit under full load and when towing, but has never sagged in more than a year and 20k miles of heavy use.

They’re going to help figure this out. I’m quite confident. Just because they aren’t a forum sponsor, doe a not mean they don’t make quality systems. They’re in the same parent company as Fox. They don’t need forums to advertise.
