Any suggestions about equipment and mounting hardware to put a pop up tent over the passenger cabin versus over the pick up bed? Thanks

Why over the cabin instead of the bed? I’m thinking of a rack and tent but decided not to sit over the cabin. Mostly because it Made it so I couldn’t take the roof off.

Curious your reasoning; maybe I am missing something I would prefer.

What is the static carrying capacity of the roof?

I want to keep the bed clear to use as a open seating area. My plan is to have a full cage style frame around the cabin fabricated so roof would need to support weight.

I don’t think Rhino rack has yet released a back bone system for the Gladiator. You’ll need that before you do what you want. I haven’t seen a static load rating for the Gladiator but I can tell you that is isn’t much.
