63k isn't much on a modern vehicle. That's about 3 years of driving for me. And 2 1/2 for my wife. Just depends on if the PO had a commute or not. If the price was right, I'd get it, I'd just need a warranty to catch anything the PO might have screwed up.

Turns out the truck was originally titled as a fleet or rental unit in El Paso TX. That would explain the mileage. Seems like a rental would have been maintained well but you never know if there were some bad apple drivers that were not kind to the truck. One thing it lacks is a trailer hitch which I don’t need, but that also means it was not put through any towing stress.

I feel like that’s a lot of miles. I drive my 2020 a lot and I’m just over half the mileage.

Fleet truck "or" rental... surely they can tell you which! I'd feel alright about a fleet truck, but agree that is a lot of mileage to trade into. People can be hard on rentals, and reportedly especially Jeep Wranglers, since they feel like they can go anywhere and rental insurance is cheap. I haven't seen a Gladiator from a major rental company, though. And if I've just missed them, I'd think it would appeal to a less "hey, watch this" kind of crowd. But with any used vehicle, there is the unknown of who owned and (hopefully) took care of it before it becomes yours. I feel better about a face to face private sale than going to a dealership but either way at that 75-100K point of mileage things can start to go. I think I'd base my own decision on how much better I liked driving the Rubi.

I was going to say same thing about my 2019 f150 I bought new. Had 37k and I drove from northern ohio to Myrtle beach a few times plus daily to work. I’d pass
