Thanks for the recommends guys. They just got a Sport S in at Prestige that I'm going to go kick the tires on, probably tomorrow. I mentioned that I would probably be interested in Rubicon take-off parts and the internet rep gave me some bs line that they have to sell their stuff as is... so who knows how much hassle I'll get for anything else. Everyone I've interacted with has been pretty easy going, so they have that going for them. I'm not paying 9k or 8k or 5k over MSRP, I will say that right now. Hell... I'm not paying more than Invoice so they're certainly on track to drive me away in that regard. I'll check the other "local-ish" dealers as well.

I need a trail buddy, I'm happy to go hit the trails sometime. We'll see if it has to be in a JKU or a JT. (c:
I'll have Rubicon take offs for you from our LE. Complete suspension and most likely will be driving by your area on my way back to pick up our car at DIA around July 7th. Let me know.

We’re you able to get a deal at Faricy Boys?
Got a great deal. Colorado Springs is close to my work, and the deal ended up beating the offers I had from Idaho and Iowa. Definitely took some time, I kept in touch over a month while negotiated with other dealers. They were firm on price but finally relented. I am happy with the deal.

Might be, but I’ve yet to see a better deal on the forum. Some might appear equal, but this does not require me to finance through the dealer, was only $28 in fees, and only costs 70 miles of gas money. When sales price, options, fees, finance rates, travel, etc are added up, I’m paying a lower dollar amount than I ever planned on.

Don't beat around the bush, give us details man.. ;)

Faricy offered me 3% below invoice, but I had to be a member of Tread Lightly. The Idaho boys are doing 5-6% below, right? So did you beat that? Future buyers need to know.. :)

And Congrats on getting getting the deal done.

I am also in Denver. Would love to hear this deal of the century.

With the sales price, doc fees, government fees, and taxes, I am still below invoice. The deal did not require me to finance with them and that did not include a discount for affiliate pricing. I paid $35 to join Access Fund a few months ago (cheaper than $100 Tread Lightly), but did not end up using affiliate pricing. I will spend about $15 in gas to drive my Pilot down there, and both the Pilot and Gladiator home (unless I take a more scenic route). No trade-in and no dealer options or accessories.

Without affiliate pricing, Iowa was only offering 3% when I was ready to order and Idaho upped the price $2k when I said I would bring my own financing. Factor in travel costs (for family of 4) and I might as well have paid MSRP locally.

My first several offers from Faricy were still MSRP after a few weeks of negotiating different builds. They were near the bottom of my preference list of about 14 dealers, and I didn't expect to purchase from them. Customer service was great, timely responses, but I was unwilling to purchase at MSRP.

Faricy reached out May 29th to let me know a Gladiator was in if I was interested. Told them I was not (because I want a Sport S/manual/soft top) , but had them price my build again. Initial offer was MSRP. Went back and forth a few times, and got the offer above. I ordered on Friday, May 31st. Not sure if they had an urgency to make sales before the end of the month, or some other reason, but they made a deal.

If you are trying with Faricy and not having luck, try James Hovey (General Manager) at John Elway in Greeley. Also great customer service and he offered 3% below invoice (no financing, affiliate, trade-in, etc.) without me even negotiating.

My offer from Idaho was 7% below invoice. When I said I would bring my own financing, price shot up $2k. He would not tell me what their rates were because they change in 3 months. I understood that, but he would not even tell me their rate that day. Add in doc and government fees and the Idaho offer came out to 1.2% below invoice. If affiliate pricing wasn't honored, that's only 0.2% off invoice. Idaho seems like a good deal until I ran the numbers.

Spencer in Iowa was more straightforward and I think that guy spends as much time on the forum as I do. Since affiliate pricing was up in the air, the best he could offer was 3% below invoice. Since I could do that locally with Elway in Greeley, I quit negotiating with Spencer.

Thank you for providing all of this information. I will be making my decision once the body color hardtop becomes available for the granite crystal! Cannot wait.

Is Faricy the best you've found around the front range? I was up there today to talk to them about trying to place an order. They told me to call back Monday to talk to the internet sales manager about it as no one there today had the authorization to do anything like what I was asking.

They’re talkin’ about Shannon Lanigan. She does appear to be a bit of a deal maker over there. Once a deal is made she’ll hand it off to another sales person to complete the transaction. Shannon knows I’m willing to go to Dennis Dillon or another Boise based dealer for 5% below because I brought her a pricing sheet Dennis Dillon them when I bought my JLU from Faricy. She and I negotiated 3% below invoice on a vehicle that was on the lot which saved me the trip to Boise.

So call them, ask for Shannon. Tell her you want to custom order your Gladiator. Tell her you want x% below invoice and that you already know you can get that from one of the dealers around Boise.
