I installed the Mopar lift and a 1" leveling spacer over the weekend. I am trying to straighten the wheel by adjusting the drag link.

The problem I'm having is that I have run out of threads to adjust any more and the wheel is still off which is doing odd things to the stability control

I also gave some rattles and whatnot but I will double check to make sure everything is torqued.

Any help with the steering is is appreciated

Post up a picture. You shouldn’t have to adjust the drag link that much, especially if you didn’t replace the track bar.

I did replace the track bar with a steersmart yeti.

I didn't think that would have any effect on the steering wheel centering.

When you replaced the track bar, did you match the Mopar bar length? is your axle centered side to side?

I did measure the track bar and it was centered in the garge. Now that I drove it around the block it doesn't seem to be centered any more. Maybe .5" out

.5 to one side is no big deal...

I can't get it to spin any more using a wrench and channel locks. My wife drives a 20 jlu and I looed at hers. Sure enough its threaded all the way.
Guess I'll remove it again and see what I come up with

Why dont you unbolt the axle side of the drag link and spin the entire assembly to use up some of the unused threads on the outside of the adjuster? to move the wheel .5 you probably only need another rotation.

Hold on, it looks different in the 2nd photo. You didn’t spin the end of the drag link did you? You should be able to just turn the adjuster by hand after you loosen the pinch bolt. If you loosened the pinch bolt to the point that the outer threads of the adjuster weren’t engaged, you only got half the benefit of the adjustment. You should have nearly equal amount of threads showing on both the adjuster and the rod end.

Okay so here's the story. I was trying to align the steering wheel late last night. I was tired and ready to be done. I had my wife get in and watch the wheel. Instead of going the short way around (the correct way) she had me spinning the wheel the other direction. I thought it was odd that I had to turn it so many times and ended separating the halves. So, when I put.it back together it was bottoming out on the pin that goes through the drag link and not allowing me to thread further.

It's done now drives pretty good. Dropping it off at a performance shop tomorrow for alignment just in case it out.

Finished product.
And one with my wife's 2020 Willys
