So there’s a professional detailer in my town who is highly reputable who will do a professional ceramic coating for $900 with a 6-year guarantee. People I’ll talked to that have used him have raved over his attention to detail so I’m not worried about him. Overall, any of you feel this is a worthwhile investment?? Pros and cons to having it done?

IMHO, if you are looking for protection, a clear film like XPEL ultimate is better. I have it on one of my cars, but, not the JT. It protects very well against chips from pebbles and small rocks.

What's he guarantee? he will fix/buff out scratches that it gets?
Often those need to be reapplied every 2/3years - is at least one reapply included in the 6years?

Does that price include paint decontamination and correction, as well as yearly maintenance?

I'd say no, unless the vehicle was a show only car. a good wash and wax and i'd call it a day. and next week, a good wash and wax. again, repeat as needed
