PSA: Change your cabin air filter

Oddly I did go with a K&N cabin air filter, I do need to service it. Heck, I've changed engine air filter 4 plus times at least. The carbon filter would be a better one for smell and like.

Where are you buying the replacement at?

Rockauto or Ebay because I am not going to spend more for a cabin filter than what a engine air filter costs that a lot of other places want to charge for it.

Thanks for the help! I will get one ordered.....I keep checking the filter book at Walmart and it shows no replacement. I hadn't taken the time to look anywhere else yet since it didn't have a part number. Figured the dealer would be the last place I would check.

the only time I worry about cabin filtering is in the winter when my windows are closed and the heater is on, otherwise, I roll down the windows and get natural fresh air

I change mine out every year. Easy enough and just why not.

I'm with Alx here.. normally.

This last week, though.. sheesh. Popped the Sunrider, the other day, and drove home from the office.

I walk in, and the wife looks at me, and asks if there was a pop-up rain shower or something on the way home, I was so soaked. LOL

When I went to the parts counter, the only replacement they had did not have the charcoal imbedded as the one from the factory did. Neither did the common auto parts locations in the area. I went to the Big A and purchased the following. Works like a charm.
