Yes I also ordered a manual for my Punk'n and hope it has better feel. Good point.

Someone has to keep them alive. I actually commend Ford on their 7 speed in the Bronco. I'd love another gear if it ever became available to Jeeps.

Mind sharing features and what the OTD was? I feel you on the manual, if I was not getting older I likely would want a manual as well.

It was interesting reading the last recall notice production #s. I calculated 5% of JL production was manual. For JTs it was right about 4%. Manuals are pretty rare. Hopefully the new clutches feel better.

I have been driving a manual since 1982 when I bought the last vehicle off of the local small town Chevy dealer's lot after they went out of business. It was a yellow 1981 Chevy LUV 4x4 that I dubbed L'il Tonka. The last new vehicle that I ordered (until last year) from the factory was my 1996 Ram 1500 4x4 with a 360 & 5-speed. I just sold it two years ago with 300k miles on it. Currently in a 2007 Ram 1500 with a 4.7 and a 6-speed. I hate to let it go but who can resist a Punk'n Mojave!
My wife has a Reign Rubicon JLU and it has taken me forever to get used to the clutch feel. It is night and day from the Ram. I'm hoping that whatever they do to fix the recall for real, addresses the super soft pedal.

I hopped on the chance to get a Punk’n as well, first time Jeep owner too!

Mojave, premium soft top, steel leather, cold weather,tow, LED, color matched fenders, trail cam, Aux switches, bed liner.
Bought the satin grill as well, but aftermarket from BAM so I have the Punk’n grill as well and have options.

I figure they’ll batch being a limited run, so hoping/expecting to get scheduled soon with some of you who ordered a few weeks before me. Fingers crossed! Excited for my rig, but not in a rush…would actually be okay with taking delivery in December or January, but I’m ready when she is lol.

Well that sucks, I am not ready to buy. Saving 1k ever 2 weeks at the moment and only have about 32k saved up. Might not be buying anything after all at this rate. I am not spending in the 50k range on a vehicle I am not happy with and this is likely to be my last jeep. I drive a 2008 Unlimited Detonator Yellow that I bought brand new and at 52 I expect to be driving this when I retire in about 15 years or so. Getting a boring brown, grey, is way off the table.

The ONLY exception might be if I could find someone to do the decals for a golden eagle trans am look a like and get some rims to match. I MIGHT be willing to go that way, maybe. But I really want to go orange.

I wish more people had that sentiment on vehicle colors. Then we would have more options than black, white, 6 different shades of gray and 1-2 cool colors.

My Ram Powerwagon is hydro blue and the new Gladiator Mojave for the wife will be Punkn orange.

Mine went D1 only 11 days after I ordered. Our Ram truck took months to hit D1.

I want a punkin Rubicon soft top at.
I am struggling with the decision to sell my mojito Rubicon Unlimited and my gray nissan frontier pro 4x and just have one vehicle. Less maintenance and less taxes. If they offered mojito in the gladiator it would be a no brainer.

A few dealerships in my area show them coming soon. So it seems like they haven’t been built yet. I know mine is still sitting at D and I ordered a bit over a week ago.

Order placed on the 13th, D1 on the 28th. Only an assumption, but I figured that that were waiting to batch the MT trucks on the release of "The Fix". I'm just hoping that it is a real clutch. Noticed that the ACT site shows all JL / JT kits are out of stock. hmmm...

He is showing an estimated ship date of 9/19. Our JL took about a week from ship to dealer door. So, I should have it before October.

Mine has been scheduled to build on 9/24/23. Ordered August 9th, but it is a manual transmission. Now the UAW strike will push it back further.
