Question on 7” to 8.4” Uconnect upgrade

Will I have access to the Uconnect phone app to lock and unlock or start vehicle? I have proximity door locks (installed myself) and remote start of that matters. So far I don’t see how to set up the Uconnect account anywhere maybe it’s just not finished loading?

The Remote Start with the FOB and Proximity Door Locks work through the RF Hub in the truck. The Remote Functions in the Phone App work through a cellular connection in the head unit.

Jeep does not provide service or support for 8.4 Uconnect head units that were not factory installed. The Remote Features available through the Phone App require a SiriusXM Guardian account. Jeep usually only allows remote access setup on units that were factory installed.
