Bought a 2022 Willy’s and threw on 285/70r17 tires. I’m not rubbing, but just seams low in front end. Far as I can tell everything but wheels and tires are stock. I had a 21 two door and it set fairly high for stock. So the ? Is does this look right for a Willy’s front ride height?

Willy has a fairly pronounced rake

Looks normal. But a full profile pic would be better.

Rubi and Mojave sit nose high.

Most stock JTs run about an inch lower in the front; they make leveling kits to correct it if you choose to

Well a decision point would be if you're going to add a steel bumper and winch. That can add a 100+ pounds

Short answer yes. At some point I will add bumpers and winch, all the goodies, but just looking at builds right now to decide my likes. Anyone have a good place to brake down different builds by color, lift size, tire size etc. let me know. Most sites lump them all together and you have to look at them all. Not that I mind drooling, but sometimes I just want it all in one place.

I guess what needs to be known up front is what is the intent or use of your JT? Daily driver/weekend trail rig, over landing, rock crawling and so on.

Pretty much your Willys on 33s with factory rake vs my overland on 32s with 2.5” spacer in the front. That’s about what you can expect. If you go too nose high in the front you can add some Daystar 3/4” spacers in the rear to fix that problem.

It’s all an illusion. What makes the non Rubicon/Mojave look low in the front are the fenders that are about 2 inches lower in the front. Put Rubicon front fenders on your Willys and it will look level.

Ok so it’s normal then, and mostly road, occasional trip off-road nothing to crazy. Just don’t want to rip off my fenders either lol. I will probably do the teraflex level or even rc level. I looked at the Clayton level as well. Definitely doing the spring level, not sure I’m a fan of the puck systems, but never had one either. My two door I just stuck some rubicon springs, shock, and control arms in and never needed more

I recommend add bumper and winch first it will sag over time it sounds like a two inch longer spring should level it out as long as it a 1 1/2 inch lift from stock that is all that is need
