Searched the forum and cannot find a reference to this question. Does anyone know if the Gladiator clutch system has a restriction orifice between the clutch master and slave cylinders? For those unfamiliar with what I am referring to, I own a 2014 Dodge Challenger 6spd MT. Many issues with clutch and trans performance in all years of these vehicles, although different than the Gladiator issues. On the Challenger, one that is easily remedied is the removal of the restriction orifice in the hydraulic line. The presence of the restriction was (supposedly) to temper clutch engagement for those who should not be driving manual transmission. What it really accomplished was creating inconsistent clutch engagement. Very annoying. Since my new 2022 JT experiences very inconsistent clutch engagement, I wonder if Jeep has employed the same misguided "fix"? This is a separate issue from the 19A Clutch Recall that has yet to be completed on my Gladiator (I am not convinced to have it performed yet). If the Gladiator has such a restriction orifice, I will gladly remove it (if it can be) in an attempt to restore proper clutch "feel? Anyone have experience or insight?
Thanks in advance.
