Oh wow. I'd buy one at 4k but not 6k. You can get a used 2 year old Sportster for 6k. Or a new last year's leftover Honda CBX500 for that. I don't know how these bicycle mfgs are justifying the cost of these E bikes when actual motorcycles that have real frames, suspensions, brakes, transmissions, seats, etc. cost the same. You're buying a motorcycle and not getting any of the accompanying stuff to go along with it. That's a hard sell I think except to those who want to use this on hiking trails or DUI commuters. Like I said I'd be interested at 4. But 6k is just too much when there are sooo many other options in that range.

As a reformed biker and Ironman triathlete, I can tell you these bikes, E or not are crazy priced and lose value 3x as fast as vehicles.

I can go buy a 250cc Dualsport for $800 less, a 650cc Dualsport for $1000 more, or two electric motorcycles at the same price. Anyone who buys an electric bicycle at this price has too much money and nothing left to buy.

Yes, this bike is WAY over priced especially compared to other available e-bikes, however, you shouldn’t compare them to motorcycles. They don’t operate the same way. Main difference is e-bikes only assist while peddling. You actually still get exercise.

I’ve got a good workout on a Dualsport bashing through the trails haha Go with a 250 Dualsport and have cash to spend on a regular bike for even better exercise. I get what you’re saying though.

wow - so sad - I was going to add this to the back of my jeep - but WTF 6k?
QuietKat has 2 different bikes at Cabellas - One for 2,500 and one for 3,500 - one was 500w and one was 750 watt if I remember.
... but it doesn't say JEEP....
