I followed this video as well and work Like a charm. I hang my tube doors on them when my regular ones are on. Even contemplating painting the wood

I hang the top for my TJ from the ceiling
using hooks and ratchet straps
and lean the two doors against a wall
propped on scraps of 2x4.
I'm an old man and can do this by myself.

If I were to remove the top
and four doors from my Gladiator
I think I would do a similar arrangement
but add four pairs of padded bicycle hooks
to the ceiling for all four doors.
I could stand in the bed of the truck
to hang the doors from the ceiling.
(I have a 9 foot ceiling in the garage.)
And then back in to park under everything.
But I could be wrong. I often am.

My only concern with this is where the bottom of the hinge makes contact with the eye bolt, its metal on metal and I would be worried about chipping paint off the hinge.

Never had a problem. No different than the hinge on the door itself sitting against the hinge on the body when the door is on. I've had this set up for nearly 4 years now and take my doors off often. My son even uses them for his JL and never had that issue.

I built the same door holders. I have to stand on a ladder to put my rear doors on the wall though.

I’ve got these and really like them. Got them from extreme terrain. I have four of them. 4 soft doors and 4 tube doors. I’ve had the actual gladiator doors on them of course, for when they’re swapped. They work for everything.

Why not simply screw some eyebolts
into the studs in the wall.

Hang the doors with the outside
toward the wall.

Drape an old towel in the open window
to prevent paint scratches.

Good luck! I bought it thinking it would be great to be able to roll it out in the driveway when the weather is nice. The problem is that the mast is too tall to fit through a standard 7' garage door, and it weighs almost a ton, so I can't tip it over to roll it out either.
