I did search but didn't find anything. When I start the jeep it defaults to the AM/FM radio. There are no stations I want to hear, especially around here. I would like it to at least default to XM but preferably the USB drive. That is where my metal is. Is there a setting I'm missing?

Never had that issue. We usually have at least one cable plugged into USB, so the system looks for bluetooth or plugged in device.

Not that I track it, but it seems that the system is always on the last state prior to ignition turn off.

Same here. It starts up in whatever mode it was in when I shut if off. I don't recall having to do anything in the set up to achieve that. What radio do you have? Mine is the 8.4 Nav, maybe there is a difference in how different units behave.
