Here we are with another issue. Our speaker had a bad bass rattle and it's been going on since we bought it new. It's gotten really bad so while it was at the dealership for our start/stop issue week, I asked them to take a look at it. We got this response back and today's update on when the new radio is going to arrive is "it may be another week". Is this apart of the dreaded pcm update that fried some systems? Anything I need to be on the lookout for now or after they install the new one? Anyone know how backordered they are? We are supposed to go on a camping trip in 2 weeks. Dealership has been very unhelpful at providing any updates or information.

Dealership replaced my radio back in June .. took 4 weeks to come in .. but I think it was in
, in 3 weeks. You will have to call and check on it .. it comes in your name since it’s a warranty claim .

These sorts of issues are just a nightmare. One of things I love about my gladiator is that its fairly simple. But even on a relatively simple vehicle, things creep in that don't add that much value, but instead just create issues like this. Very frustrating.

My wife ordered a '21 JL. Radio died (the only sound coming out of the speakers was rattling static at any volume). Replaced under warranty within a week. Dealer here in MA told us they have had so many issues they keep a couple spares on hand (not verified, but it was fast).

The AT&T WiFi hotspot also stops working intermittently on my '20 Overland and my wife's '21 JL. Connected>No Internet Connection. Have to shut off the vehicle and pull fuse # F97 for 10 seconds to reset the radio. Works for a while then has to be pulled again.

I had my 2022 in for repairs because Uconnect quit working on any usb port and the console usb quit charging as well. Took me 3 weeks to convince the dealership sonething was wrong. They ended up replacing all the usb ports and eveything is now working. Took aboit a week and half to get the part.

Be aware that if you are a SiriusXM subscriber, and you have your radio changed, you'll lose your subscription: it's linked to the radio ID, not the vehicle. I was able to convince SiriusXM that I'd had the radio in my JT changed, eventually.

I upgraded my radio, called Sirius, gave them my new radio ID, and they transferred it to my account. Easy peasy.

Thank you both for the heads up- we do have XM so I'll make sure to call them and explain the situation. We have a great price on it so fingers crossed they let me do it too.
