Rampage Tow Mirror Adapters for JT/Gladiator

I have the collision avoidance package with those yellow triangles that show up when some gets too close.
Will this tow mirror setup mess with that?

Long and short answers, Nope.

But, having said that, I am wondering if having your trailer hitched up, if that doesn't trigger the sensors which I believe are in the rear bumper...

The sensors are in the tail light housing, and the trailer will not interfere with it.

Fellow Gladiator towers,

It was suggested that I share this solution on the "Towing and Trailering" forum.

Months before I ever received/purchased my Gladiator (impatiently waited), I started looking for tow mirrors as I know how difficult it was to see around my 2-place enclosed snowmobile trailer with my JKUUR. This issue was resolved on my JKUR with a purchase from Rampage Products and their 8605 Tow Mirrors. I loved them, but unfortunately FCA changed the mirror design from JK to JL and eventually JT. This rendered them useless and after contacting Rampage, there was no plan on designing an updated tow mirror for our new mirrors.

I resolved the issue by designing and 3D printing adapters for the JK Rampage tow mirrors, allowing them to be used on JT/JLs. A lot of forum members have purchased and successfully used them as you can see in m original thread:

Please keep in mind and as noted in the item description, these are for the adapters only. The Rampage Mirror (P/N 8605) need to be purchased sepearately from Quadratec, Amazon, or other suppliers.

I use Flashforge Dreamer NX's and print these out of ABS.

The adapters and Rampage mirrors are a good fit, and look good enough on the Jeep that I forgot to take them off for a week or two after towing our new travel trailer home from Texas.

They didn't get as far out as I would have liked for the eight foot width of our trailer. This was not unexpected, so we were ready with a rear view camera to plug in to the prewiring on the trailer. That worked super well for getting a sense of what was behind you in the rear blind spot. Highly recommend both for RV type trailering.
