Came across this in my news feed. Seems like the predicted reliability ratings are all over the place depending on who you look to for that info. Consumer reports gave it 5 out of 5 but JD gave it a 2.5 of 5. A few others were somewhere in between.

I haven't owned mine long enough and I still am not exactly sure how these ratings are derived, but an interesting read nonetheless. I would be interested in what those who have had them over a year would have to say.

I'm inclined to trust Consumer Reports. They have been quite harsh, it seems, about Jeeps in the past. They always seem to call a spade a spade.

If they say it should be pretty reliable, it probably will be.
