Does anyone have this lift? How do you like it? How did the drive change?

How are Readylift kits in general? Better than spacers but subpar compared to MC or Clayton?

My tentative plan is the AEV spacer kit with 37's until the shocks need to be rebuilt/ changed.

I have no idea on the quality. For the money, you seem to be in line with the cost of an AEV spacer lift once you add track bars an correction brackets.

But to me, 4 inches seems like a lot of lift for a Mojave. Would it improve articulation or just get more room under the vehicle? I’m definitely no expert and my off-road use is beach cruising.

How did the drive change?
It'll handle like a sail boat in high winds. Two hands on the wheel at all times during gusty conditions for safety.

Everyone has an opinion (and an asshole), so here's mine! 2 inches is pretty much the cap for a truck you intend to daily. 3-4 is hobby vehicle territory. 5+ is for purpose builds you tow to the site (more wranglers than JTs for obvious reasons).

Now obviously you can do whatever you want, but every inch you go up is gonna make handling worse. Especially risky on a bargain kit. If you really wanna go up 4 inches, spend some real money. Buy once cry once is the saying. You try to do it cheap the first time out and there's a decent chance you end up buying the expensive parts later anyway.

yeah, i’ve considered this. 4 inch seems a wee much.

My local shop offered this lift, i hadn’t heard much about it or ready lift.

It won’t improve articulation because the kit uses the stock shocks with brackets. Only longer shocks will allow more articulation. 2 inches of lift is as far as I would go with stock shocks.
This is what I was thinking.

37s are also the minimum tire that looks right with that lift, 40s look better. Personally, if I was going to go higher than 2” I would look at Clayton or MC. However, it’s already been said about opinions:)
