No too shabby of a build on a vehicle he considered hideous.

I considered the gladiator hideous too, until I started playing around with the configurator and realized I just really don't like em on silver wheels and tiny street tires.

Likewise. Initially. But I got an insane offer on my 2011 Sahara Unlimited and it disappeared. Then I got several offers on my 2001 7.3L SuperDuty that were $4-7K more than what I paid for it in 2007, and 230,000 miles ago.
So the wife said why don’t you get one of those Jeeps that looks like a truck and from there they kinda started growing on me since she would approve, or at least not be offended.?
Patiently waiting on my Gobi Mojave…

I wouldn’t say hideous in stock form but not gorgeous. This guy takes it to the next level though. bravo.

Hideous might be a bit strong, that's fair.

Seeing Gladiators on the street prior to researching them my first two impressions were:
that's ugly in an interesting way, and
why would you buy a jeep truck and never take the top and doors off and never put anything in the bed?

I fixed all this by ordering my gladiator in a way i thought was attractive from the factory (all black willys first one, gobi mojave second one), and by constantly taking my doors and freedom panels off. Full roof has been off 3 times so far, but doing it solo with no garage is a bit of a pain so it's mostly freedom panels off for me.
