My 2021 Willy's has developed a creaking Noise in the rear end when I hit bumps. It sounds like a 20 year old farm truck and is driving me nuts. Any common areas to check first or does anyone have a quick fix? I'm assuming it is springs or rear linkage of some kind?

Depending on how cold it is near you it’s probably your shocks. What shocks are you running? My rubicon FOX shock creak when it’s cold outside.

I'm in central Texas so it is cold but it warms up during the day. It was still doing it the other day when it was in the 60s. I have the stock red shocks.

First thing I'd check are the sway bar end links. Make sure they're tight.

^ As the two previous posters shared, recommend checking and lubricating sway bars ends and control arm bushings. If stock, a little petroleum based spray is enough to keep the from drying out and generally stops the creaks and squeaks.

Older thread but I came across while researching …. I have this creaking noise on my 2020 Rubi and i can feel lateral movement at speed. I found that my rear sway bar mounts (thin sheet metal) on the frame side are starting to bend/twist/hollow out and the sway bar end bushings on the axle side are getting hollowed out. I temporarily sprayed down with silicone spray, put washers on the bushings and tightened - it lasted a few days but is creaking again. I’ve ordered the MetalCloak sway bar reinforcements

to hopefully fix the underlying issue of the twisting frame side mount. Then I’ll work on replacing the bushings on the axle side.
