adding park assist to the rear is easy. Adding them to the front requires a little bit more of work. I had to source my park assist module from the UK to get the correct one, but can it be done? Absolutely. I have operatitonal front and rear park assist on my base model jeep wrangler sport..
I'd be interested to hear more about the front one and how you added it.

Did you ever complete this project? I am looking for someone who figured out the wiring and location of the Park Assist Module...

I"ve added both front and rear park assist to my base model jeep. While the factory installs the park assist module in the passenger rear quarter panel right in front of the tail light, underneath the plastic panel, I chose to add mine behind the gateway security module. SInce I was running front and rear sensors, I determined that made the most sense. If you are just running the rears, and wanted to copy the factory installation, you have to run the harness from the driver side rear bumper where the connector leaves the rear bumper, up into the jeep, through the tail light cavity into the cab of the jeep through the penetration for the tail lights. Then run the harness up to the middle of the front seats, under the drivers seat, under the center console, under the passenger seat, then back to the rear of the vehicle. Running it past the drivers seat into the kick panel then up to the gateway security module area makes the most sense. The park assist module is the exact same size. So why not.

You really don't need new bumpers. You can drill the holes, obtain the plastic sensor holders, get the sensors, and the harness and you just saved yourself quite a bit of money. If it was me, I think I would of found used ones on facebook marketplace and modify them. IF you screw it up, you can always put your old bumper back on lol...

The front park assist was very similar to the rear. I struggled with the correct configuration, but looking back, it makes sense now. There are 6 sensors so 6 times $40 each, and you are in it for $240 worth of sensors. The harness was also a struggle, no dealer in the US will sell you one. Has to be a country designated as ROW, at the bare minimum, nobody in the US, Mexico or Canada. Building it yourself isn't difficult, well, it isn't if you can read schematics, and have access to the diagrams. I used ALLDATA online as my guide. You can easily see the electrical drawing, pull up the connectors, and get their part numbers, and using mouser.com, you can look at the datasheets and get the correct pins that will fit those connectors. I do this in my daily job, so its not a big deal. (not with vehicles though). The next hurdle, and probably the most important, is the park assist module. Same deal as with the bumper harness, no dealer in the US, Caada or Mexico will sell you one. (the dealers will say it is discontinued with no replacement). If you have park assist already and don't have the front, your module won't work as it is. IF you have a 2020-2024 wrangler, then your in business and way easier than trying to retrofit a 2019 jeep wrangler with front park assist. Your module can get the firmware for the front park assist, but no dealer in the US, canada or mexico will do it. The last 4 numbers in your module part number for rear park assist is 1031. It will have to be flashed with firmware with the last 4 numbers in the park number 1032. I couldn't find anyone that had the firmware for the front park assist for a 2019 jeep wrangler, so I search in the UK online auto recyclers and found the module that way. I experimented with running the 2020-2024 park assist module, and my BCM flagged a DTC that I was trying to use an incompatible module. I thought about upgrading my ECM since I upgraded my BCM already, but that was a can of worms, since I'm running a 2019 ACC/FCW module, and I"m quite sure I would lose that and forced to upgrade that also, to include the ABS module, and the airbag module. I'm sure the blind spot monitoring would also complain lol.

Subscribing to this thread. @rhill2901 I saw your write up on the JL forum. Do you happen to know where module is located for those that have the front park sense overseas in our JTs? Is that module also behind the back panel behind the rear seat? My JT has the Rear Park Sense AND Lane Change Assist already installed and I've located the module behind the rear seat panel so presumably 68441032AC is a 4-input module which has 1-input for the front sensors and then wire it up to the sensors and AOBD it to know it’s there.

So here is what I have thus far for required parts to only add Front ParkSense:
1. Park Assist Module
68441032AC - For Both Front & Rear Park...or does this module operate ONLY the front? Here is the description "Parksense Front Park Assist System"
2. Park Assist Sensor 5YV68TZZAA - 6x for front
3. Decoupler Ring 68271824AA - 6x for front
4. Front Fascia Wiring -
68597775AB (this is my best guess, here is the description: "[COMPLETE CHASSIS PARTS MODULE], [Mold In Color Bumper w/Neutral Gray], [PASSIVE PEDESTRIAN PROTECTION], [Front LED Fog Lamps], [ParkSense Front Park Assist System], [CHINA EQUIPMENT GROUP], [COMPLETE CHASSIS PARTS MODULE], [MOLD IN COLOR BUMPER W/ACCENT COLOR], [PASSIVE PEDESTRIAN PROTECTION], [Front LED Fog Lamps], [FRONT FASCIAS PARTS MODULE], [PASSIVE PEDESTRIAN PROTECTION], [ParkSense Front Park Assist System]"

And obviously the correct drilled bumper.

What am I missing? Thanks in advance for the help!
