Hi, new to the forum and sort of jeep newbie. Anyone else have a bad shock that needed to be replaced at only 2k miles? Must be just a bad shock, havent went offroad or hit a pothole. I guess my gladiator is asking for a lift upgrade, lol.

Yea, I hear ya'.. kinda' a helpless feeling when you can't get a simple shock absorber, I don't know who FCC contracted with for these shocks but it wasn't a good source..

Consider yourself lucky If shocks are the only issues you have, seems like others are having bigger issues.

Seems to be going around. I had the same issue at 2k miles late last year. Took the dealer a couple of weeks to swap it out.

They are probably contracted with Tenneco which makes OEM shocks for a bazillion other makes and owns the Monroe brand.
